Partnerships

We work with other nonprofit and community organizations, campuses, student groups, artists and brands to spread the word about abortion pills and share information on how people are accessing them online for medically safe home abortion.

What does it mean to partner with us?

At Plan C, we share our research and public health information on abortion pills as widely as we can - but we can’t reach everyone on our own. We know organizations and brands like yours are in touch with individuals who would benefit from facts on abortion pills. We also know that people want this info, and deserve this info - whether or not they need an abortion, they can become educated on their options and how pills work in safe self-managed settings.

If you’re here, you’re already thinking about this issue, and we know you have the best insight into what type of information your community needs. Partnering with us means being committed to letting people know that abortion pills are safe, effective, and available by mail in ways that make sense for your organization’s unique identity and positionality.

Outcomes

A near future in which your community, group or audience now understands safe and effective abortion pill options and can navigate resources confidently if and when they need to.

Strategy

Spreading information takes time and resources, and we’re committed to supporting efforts to move agency over abortion back to the individual. Our partnership grants are designed to springboard creative ideas and provide the resources to get this information into local communities.

Previous campaigns

Over the past ten years we’ve partnered with a wide variety of artists and creators, companies and brands, nonprofit organizations and events.

Partnership FAQs

What does partnering with Plan C look like?

Partnering with us can look many different ways. If you can dream it, we want to help you achieve it! Some of our past work includes joint media campaigns, murals, community resource events, abortion pill webinars, billboards, block parties, tabling, podcasts, and so much more. The goal of Plan C partnerships is to raise awareness about self-managed abortion nationwide, and the creativity of partnerships helps to further that goal.

Who can partner with us?

We welcome everyone interested in partnering with us to reach out! We have worked with brands, nonprofits, school groups, community organizations, and individuals to create dynamic and impactful collaborations. We are focused on meeting people where they’re at, and that means that there’s room for partnerships of all shapes and sizes.

How do I request funding for partnerships?

Funding for partnerships is available in certain circumstances and is decided on a case-by-case basis. Partners interested in funding will meet with our Partnerships team to discuss the project goals and funding needs. Depending on how the projects align with our strategic objectives, funding will be granted, and a formal partnership agreement will be created. If you are interested in having a project funded, please reach out to our Partnerships Director at partners@plancpills.org.

What are the reporting requirements for partnership funding?

We understand how labor-intensive grant reporting can be to those doing advocacy work in their communities, so our partnership grants are designed to be as simple as possible. Our grants do not come with strict reporting requirements. Instead, we ask to stay in conversation with our partners to get updates on projects. This can look like occasional Zoom meetings to touch base on projects or a live planning document of the project.
